This is somewhat in response to the favorites topic, but is deserving (IMHO) it's own thread. does anyone else use X-Setup? i personally think it can be a god-send at times for changing hard to find settings without much hassle. also great for tweaking those accounts on NT/2k/XP machines that shouldn't be able to see certain things, like say the control panel.

I agree, X-Setup is a pretty cool program. But I must stress that its only for the advanced users. THere are some settings in there that could cause your computer to go crawl into the corner and die .

| yes indeed it is..... but many of the more potentially dangerous settings it can get at it warns you ahead of time, which is also nice..... and the newest version gives you the choice of running the main GUI or just do minor tweaks with wizards.... haven't used the wizards yet, but i think i will at least see what they have for tweaks in that |

The last version i installed was 5.6, or something aruond there. Now i see its up t 6.3 so I will have to try out the new one. _________________ Aaron Axelsen
