Just wondering what different things any of you have used. cPanel seems to be the most popular as far as I can tell but I've also heard of Plesk (or something like that) but have never used it.
What seems to be the easiest to use and the best to work with. From both a users perspective and a management perspective. _________________ GamingMMO.com |

We use Helm, which is a control panel for windows servers - it is the best of the windows control panels in my opinion, but still has a way to go to be perfect. It sacrificed ease of use a bit for power in how you can set it up! Helm 4 comes out at the end of the year/beginning of next, which is completley rewritten in .net, and they are promising big things! _________________ Paul Woodland - DeveloperCube Moderator

cPanel - A nice system. It interacts with WHM (WebHost Manager) for the backend account area. I have seen some people bash cPanel but I think it's a pretty nice system.
Plesk - I used a host with Plesk for about a month and canceled quickly because I disliked the system so much.

I've used Ensim and CPanel, they both seem to do the trick, but CPanel seems to have more options. _________________ Money Talk | Hosting Forum | Web Directory | SEO1 |

I was checking out the demo version of Ensim but I didn't quite understand how everything worked, probably because I've only ever used CPanel though. _________________ GamingMMO.com |

cPanel is the best choice because it the major control panel of today's hosting industry. However, with that said, that does not in any way mean it's the best in terms of quality. I have used many DirectAdmin, H-Sphere, Ensim, PLESK, cPanel control panels, and all have their weakpoints and strongpoints. But as a host, due to the popular demand, the safe choice would be to go with cPanel. _________________ >img src="http://www.phpbb2.lt/parasai/parasiukas.gif">
