I've heard good things about SMF ( http://www.simplemachines.org ) but I haven't ever used it really, I installed it once to check it out though and it seemed nice enough. _________________ GamingMMO.com |

SMF Is excellent, I use it for my forums, if you want an example (punkbythebook.com/forum)
It is by far the easiest forum i've seen or used.
The forums are look good, and there is even an autoinstaller for a LOT of the mods you can get for it. Which means, quick and painless adding of mods, it tells you whether or not the mod will work too. Saves you the time of adding it yourself (Although that is fun sometimes)
It's EASY to transfer your current forum over to it.(I did it in about 2 minutes)
I'd recommend it to everyone.

SMF is indeed a good option. Still for 4 years I have used only phpBB. Now I could aford a VB and still don't think I'd switch too soon. If one knows how to mod a theme and work on the phpBB script, this can be one of the best ideas.
There is another script, myBB that's getting some promotion lately _________________ Talk about web development |
