Does anyone know the pro's and cons of PHP and ASP? I'm trying to get the company that hired me for an internship to switch to PHP. What do you guys think?
OH yea, what about costs of switching from php to asp?

As far as the conversion cost I would imagine that it would depend how complex their current system is and what they need done in PHP. I rather PHP just because I find their to be more useful scripts/software out there using PHP. For example Developer Cube is being run on PHPBB (www.phpbb.com).
But, it really depends on what they are doing with it (e-commerce, membership database, online community, and so on).

On a related note, is anyone here familiar with ways of making ASP work on *nix servers? _________________ Sincerely, Michael Wendt
