The Norton just goes totally haywire.
The Norton msg. box flickers and its window in the taskbar actually
scoots across the taskbar.
It seems to be running fine on netscape now, not a clue to why
its acting up. Tried on 3 pcs. The site will not work on Firefox at all
anymore. Runs on CrazyBrowser at my mom's & runs on explorer
for everyone but me.
Mozilla just disappears after a few minutes of surfing, it is on IE that
Norton pops up and acts a fool.
I have looked in the files and don't see anything amiss.
Heard from my programmer last night and they said the site was
clean & the server was clean as well. Weird.
All my AV & Anti-Spy softwares are upto date & coming up clean.
On my programmer's advice, I used hijackthis to locate and remove
this file : zHotkey.exe
My surf ran fine for a few hours after that on Mozilla, then just froze.
Very confusing as well as irritating. Haven't got hardly anything
done for days.
My members appear to be surfing ok, or if they are having problems,
they aren't complaining about it. So it has got to be "just me" or at
least that's what I think at this point. Dunno. Trying to track the jackass
who is inputting this crap into my surf. Gotta be some kind of malware
that the software companies haven't counteracted yet.
Thank you so much for asking, i feel somewhat better just letting it out. _________________ Shannon Whitehead

Sounds like you've tried a lot of things to sort it. Maybe try the Microsoft Malicious Software detector? I can't think of anything else to try. _________________ Keith McLaughlin - DeveloperCube Moderator
