do you know any other scripting/programming languages?

If you do, it helps a lot. Especially if those languages happen to be C++ or Java.

well it all started for me a little over 2 years ago...

surfing the net one day I stumbled across MAME - Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator... an app that plays arcade games on your desktop... hmm, this was a lucky find - I am a huge fan of the old school arcade games, so off I went in search of a Mac version.

I first started my MacMAME site with the use of a free template from Elated.com, and slowly moved on from there.

My wife owns a Graphic Design firm here in NYC so I had access to the cool apps like PS7, ImageReady, DreamweaverMX, Quark, FlashMX etc etc - so I began playing around with them... Photoshop became my favourite tool, such a powerful piece of software that I try and play with a little each day.

Today? I design sites (currently working on my own wedding site), logos, banners (flash and gif animated), custom designs for phpBB-powered sites and some other time consuming design centric work, which is generating a nice little side-income.

Nice forum and good subjects.

I've been on the Net since the mid 80's and started web surfacing back in the "good 'ol days" of html when the W3C was still trying to come up with a standard.

Built my first web page in 1993 and have been at ever since. Although I do do some private work, most of my stuff has been for community non-profits or my own pleasure.

I've always enjoyed hand coding with a text editor, and still do to some degree. I now use DreamweaverMX, but most to just check and refresh my memory on the correct tag syntex.
