Hello,

Welcome. What community software are you using? If you are using phpBB, you should upload the avatars you want in your gallery to /images/avatars/gallery and then enable gallery avatars under Configuration in your admin panel.

For a background image, you could try adding this to your CSS file:

Code:
body
{
background-image: url('filename.jpg')
}

You will need to set filename.jpg to the file on your server. It can include folders like "/images/filename.jpg".

What sort of banner were you trying to upload?

Thanks,

Patrick

You will need to upload it to your server/hosting so that you can link to it. You won't be able to link it to it's location on your computer.

Thanks.

Hello,

What community software are you using?

It would be your hosting/server. I wouldn't really be able to do it for you, sorry.

Thanks.

It would be a good idea to contact the support staff of your web hosting provider. In most cases, especially the leading web hosting companies have their own support forum, where you can get quick answers to your questions about the forum installation.
