|

Hey guys,
I've got my free hosting but one thing I think you won't find is free domain registration, but it's worth asking. My budget is low so I'd like a free service, if there isn't any free services I need some extremely cheap ones.
Any recommendations? _________________ http://truestarforums.com

There have been times where registrars have offered free domains, but they're never top level domains. You might be waiting some time before an offer like that comes along. Domains aren't exactly expensive these days either! _________________ Keith McLaughlin - DeveloperCube Moderator

True, I've found a place for 8.95 a year which is about 8 dollars cheaper than most, I suppose buying them won't be too bad now. _________________ http://truestarforums.com

One thing you need to check before registering a domain 'on the cheap', is the renewal cost. Some registrars let you register it the first time for next to nothing but then sting you when it comes time to renew.
Of course to get around that you could move the domain to a new registrar and renew it with them - if it's cheaper to do so. _________________ Keith McLaughlin - DeveloperCube Moderator

Well, Optinom is 8.20 a year, I'll look into the renewing price.
I'm glad I found someone so cheap, money isn't easy for a kid who can't legally get a paying job. I'm very excited. _________________ http://truestarforums.com
