Ok, I am new to web development. I want to put a "Contact" button on my site and link it so that the persons email will open up so they can send me it. What do I link it to? Or do I have to code something?

You have to code the link into the pages. Or just edit your site with Dreamweaver. It's a pretty easy to use program. Most of it will automate the process for you.
