| lately i've been having problems with my computer rebooting at random for no apparent reason other than it wants to. i've tried everything i can think of.... got a new ps/case (400 watt powermax for those that are wondering), reinstalled windows a couple times thinking maybe it was a torjan that norton wasn't detecting, removed all my hardware and reinstalled them piece by peice (started out with CPU, mem, and video card... added floppy, HDDs, DVD, CD-RW, sound, network, modem, and USB 2.0 card), i've run every test WD has on the new HD i installed since my troubles started around the same time i installed the new HD. any ideas of what it could be? thanks guys |

Check your bios. You might have to upgrade it. I had a Fix AZ11ea mobo, and when i upgraded the processor it just sporatically rebooted. I did everything you did, then I upgraded the bios and it worked like a dream!
